Accueils collectifs de mineurs (ACM), meaning leisure centres and holiday camps, are regulated by the State: staff must meet qualification rules, and the BAFA is the usual entry certificate for occasional work, with the BAFD for directors. Professional diplomas from the youth and sports ministry (CPJEPS, BPJEPS, DEJEPS) lead to permanent posts. Employers check that staff are not barred from working with minors.
