Working as a financial auditor in France
Working as an auditor in a firm is open to graduates of business schools, master CCA or DSCG programmes; no licence is needed for assistant, senior or manager roles. Signing statutory audits, however, is reserved for commissaires aux comptes, who must hold the DEC or the CAFCAC, complete a traineeship and be registered with the French audit regulator (Haute autorité de l'audit). Internal audit is not regulated; the CIA certification is common.
