Landscape gardener in French

Search for jardinier paysagiste, ouvrier paysagiste, chef d'équipe paysagiste or ouvrier d'entretien des espaces verts. The job is open without a diploma, but employers prefer the CAPa Jardinier paysagiste, the Bac pro Aménagements paysagers, the BP Aménagements paysagers or the BTSA Aménagements paysagers for team leader roles. CACES certificates are required to operate earthmoving machines, and a trailer licence helps. Be careful with titles: paysagiste concepteur is legally reserved for holders of recognised design diplomas, so builders use jardinier paysagiste. For private households, routine garden maintenance can fall under the services à la personne tax credit, whereas creation work does not, so clients often ask which part of a quote is eligible.
